His Excellency Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, received a phone call today from the new Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the new government in Israel.

Sayyid Badr expressed the hope that the new Israeli government will adopt a vision of peace that aims to take concrete steps that converge with the aspirations of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, stressing the principles of the well-known Omani peace policy in this context.
