His Majesty meets Indian business leaders

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met this morning in the Indian capital, New Delhi, with a number of prominent business figures in the Republic of India.

During the meeting, His Majesty and the business executives exchanged opinions on various economic and commercial issues.

His Majesty urged his guests to explore the promising investment opportunities in various sectors in the Sultanate of Oman and to benefit from its many competitive incentives.

The business leaders expressed their great honour to meet His Majesty, adding that the meeting will help to increase trade and investment between Oman and India.

The meeting was attended by Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA); Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Engineer Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Pankaj Khimji, Adviser for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry, and Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, Oman's Ambassador to India.
