Oman Gulf Trophy 2024 tees off

The first round of the Oman Golf Trophy 2024 began today in the Italian city of Monticello, with the participation of 128 players.

Eighty qualifying rounds will take place across seven countries from April to October 2024 and will see 7,400 golfers competing for a spot in the final to be held in Muscat in December.

The event is set to attract a diverse mix of local and international golf enthusiasts, bolstering Oman's standing as a premier sports tourism destination.

The tournament's launch in Monticello was attended by Sayyid Nazar Al Julanda Majid Alsaid, Oman's Ambassador to Italy.
