Campaign launched in London to boost Oman tourism visits
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has launched a promotional campaign in London aimed at attracting more British tourists to the Sultanate of Oman.
The three week campaign highlights Oman’s rich heritage and year round attractions, positioning the country as a distinctive destination for travellers from the United Kingdom.
The campaign will feature images on buses, taxis and billboards raising awareness of Oman’s appeal. It showcases Omani culture, wildlife, beautiful landscapes and unique activities for visitors to enjoy exclusively in Oman.
The Ministry aims to increase the number of international tourists to 11 million by 2040 marking an essential milestone toward Oman Vision 2040.
The tourism sector aims to double its current contribution to the national GDP to reach 5% by 2030, with plans to expand this to 10% by 2040.
