Foreign Minister returns to Muscat after visit to Iran

Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, has returned to Muscat from the Islamic Republic of Iran after he was assigned by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to represent the Sultanate at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Iranian President Dr Ebrahim Raisi.

Upon his return, Sayyid Badr was received by Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, the Iranian ambassador to the Sultanate and Dr. Khalid bin Saeed Al Jaradi, head of the Protocol Department at the Foreign Ministry.

The Foreign Minister was accompanied during his visit by an official delegation which included Ibrahim Ahmed al-Ma’aini, Oman’s Ambassador to Iran; Khalid Hashil al-Muslahi, Head of the Department of the Minister’s Office Department and Saud Ahmed al-Barwani, Head of the Ministry’s GCC Department.
