Foreign Minister receives Korean National Defence Minister

Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister today received Suh Wook, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Korea.

The meeting reviewed cooperation between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing relations further. The two sides exchanged points of view on regional and international matters of common interest.

The two sides emphasised the strong political and economic relations between the two countries, as well as existing military and security cooperation. They reiterated the keenness of the two sides to expand the prospects for cooperation and partnership as the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries draws near in 2024.

The meeting was attended by Khalid Hashil Almuslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, officials from the Foreign Ministry, Kim Chang Kyu of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest.
