Oman and Uzbekistan hold talks session

The seventh round of talks between the foreign ministries of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Muscat today.

The session reviewed bilateral relations and affirmed the keenness of both countries in enhancing those relations in various fields.

The two sides also exchanged views on various regional and international matters of common interest.

The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary  for Diplomatic Affairs, while the Uzbek side was headed by Furkat Ahmedovich Sidikov, Deputy Foreign Minister. The consultation session was also attended by a number of officials from the two countries' foreign ministries.
