Oman and Georgia hold political consultations

The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Georgia held a session of political consultations at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat today.

The Omani side at this third round of political consultations between the two countries was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs. The Georgian side was headed by Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in all spheres to serve the mutual interests of both countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern, as well as the efforts exerted to resolve them by peaceful means.
