Foreign Minister receives Governor of Chinese Yunnan province

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received today in Muscat, Wang Yubo, Governor of the Province of Yunnan in the People's Republic of China.

The meeting reviewed the good relations between Oman and China and ways to strengthen them, especially with regard to cooperation with Yunnan Province. Subjects discussed included economic cooperation and investment, as well as encouraging tourism, holding exhibitions, exchanging expertise and arranging visits between the two sides.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office; Youssef Alzadjali, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department; Sheikh Salem Alsunaidi, Governor of Al-Amerat; Li Lingbing, China's Ambassador to Oman, and officials from both sides.
