His Majesty receives Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received at Al Baraka Palace today Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, along with his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, His Majesty the Sultan and Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi discussed relations between the two countries. They explored aspects of cooperation to serve the mutual interests of the people of Oman and the UAE. They also touched on a number of issues of mutual concern.

From Oman the meeting was attended by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamood bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior and Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office.

From the UAE the meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi; Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi; Mohammed Hassan Al Shamsi, Adviser to the Ruler; Mohammed Sultan Al Qadhi, Adviser to the Ruler; Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Zaabi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate; Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatri, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department and Mohammed Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Later, His Majesty and the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah held a private meeting accompanied by Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sheikh Khalid bin Saud Al Qasimi and Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi.

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and his accompanying delegation arrived on their official visit to Oman earlier in the day. They were received by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Mohammed Nakhira Al Dhaheri, the UAE's Ambassador to Oman.
