Political Undersecretary receives UN Yemen Envoy

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received today Hans Grundberg, the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen.

The meeting reviewed the role being played by the UN in Yemen at the humanitarian and political levels. There was also a discussion about the efforts being made to support the Yemeni parties to reach a political solution that achieves security and stability for both Yemen and the countries of the region.

The meeting, attended by delegation accompanying Mr Grundberg and officials from the Foreign Ministry, is the latest in a series of meetings between  Mr Grundberg and Sheikh Khalifa.
