Oman welcomes Arab League's call for peace in Libya

The Foreign Ministry expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s welcome of the outcomes of the meeting of the League of Arab States held at the invitation of the Secretary General to the President of the Presidential Council, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the Supreme Council of State in Libya.

In an official statement, the Ministry affirmed Oman's support for the unity and sovereignty of Libyan lands and all efforts aimed at establishing security and peace in Libya ensuring its people continue to grow and prosper.
