Foreign Minister meets Indian External Affairs Minister
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting with Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India's Minister of External Affairs.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and India at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh.
The Ministers discussed the trajectory of cooperative relations between Oman and India and explored opportunities to expand partnership areas to enhance mutual benefits.
They also addressed current regional issues, reaffirming their support for continued coordination to achieve security and stability and contain escalation with a commitment to applying international law to ensure peace and justice for all.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Oman's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Almaskari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's GCC Department, and officials from the Ministry.
