Minister discusses regional developments with Iranian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a phone call with Dr Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the call, they discussed the latest developments in the region and the Israeli occupation forces' aggression on sites in Iran.

Sayyid Badr expressed Oman's rejection and condemnation of any actions that violate the sovereignty of nations, undermine international law, and threaten security and stability in the region. He emphasised the importance of strengthening dialogue and diplomatic cooperation among countries of the region to maintain regional security and prevent tensions and escalation.

Dr Araghchi expressed his appreciation for Oman's stance, praising the diplomatic efforts exerted by the Sultanate to achieve harmony and peace in the region. He affirmed the need to enhance joint cooperation to prevent the expansion of conflicts and to intensify efforts to address their root causes.
