Minister meets Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan
Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, met with Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the capital Astana.
The meeting discussed how to enhance relations and cooperation between the Sultanate and Kazakhstan, especially in the economic, cultural and tourism sectors. It also focused on diplomatic cooperation and plans to hold a meeting of the Joint Economic Committee of the two countries later this year.
The Ministers also discussed regional and international issues, stressing their support for all peaceful efforts to achieve peace and stability and establish justice based on the rules of international law.
The two Ministers signed a roadmap for cooperation to enhance bilateral coordination, develop partnerships in various areas of common interest, and push diplomatic relations to new levels to serve the common interests of Oman and Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Mohammed Abdullah Albahrani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a number of officials from both Oman and Kazakhstan.
