Minister in phone discussion with US Secretary of State

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a phone discussion with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

They discussed the deep historical ties and friendly relations between the Sultanate and the USA, as well as their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields.

They highlighted the importance of continuing the ongoing strategic dialogue between the two countries and of following up on partnership, trade, and knowledge exchange programmes to bring further benefits to both nations.

The Minister and the Secretary of State also exchanged views on regional and international developments, expressing their shared interest and support for efforts to achieve just peace, deescalation, and peaceful solutions through constructive dialogue to address various challenges.
