His Majesty receives message from Yemeni President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has received a written message from Field Marshal Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, President of the Republic of Yemen.

The message deals with the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and the means of promoting them in all spheres.

The message was received in Muscat today by Sayyid Badr Hamad Albusaidi, Oman's Foreign Minister, when he met Dr. Ahmad Awad Mubarak, Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs of Yemen.

The meeting reviewed developments in the situation in Yemen and UN efforts to end the war in a way that preserves the unity and safety of Yemen.

The two sides reiterated the importance of enhancing cooperation with all parties to achieve security and stability for Yemen by supporting the efforts of the UN and US envoys.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Alharthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs of Oman's Foreign Ministry, Khalid Hashel Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office Department and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry. It was also attended by Dr. Khalid Saleh, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Sultanate.
