Oman signs partnership agreement with FAO

The Sultanate of Oman and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) have signed an agreement to implement a strategic partnership programme within the framework of “South and Triangular Cooperation.”

The agreement was signed in Muscat from the Omani side by Dr Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and Qu Dongyu, Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation.

This agreement comes within the framework of ongoing joint cooperation and the desire of the two parties to further develop their cooperation into a more efficient, effective and innovative partnership. This will contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.
