His Majesty the Sultan and the Emir of Kuwait hold official talks
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, held an official session of talks at Al Alam Palace.
At the outset of the session, His Majesty reiterated his welcome to the Emir, as an eminent guest of the Sultanate of Oman, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a pleasant stay.
The Emir expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to His Majesty for the warm welcome and hospitality.
The session reviewed the deep-rooted and distinguished relations binding Oman and Kuwait. It also touched on various aspects of cooperation between the two countries and means of promoting them to serve the fraternal ties between their peoples and achieve further prosperity, progress and welfare.
The two leaders also discussed other topics in light of regional and international developments.
