17 March 2025

In line with the Foreign Ministry's commitment to providing distinguished consular services, supporting the digital transformation goals of Oman Vision 2040, and facilitating procedures through digitizing services, the Ministry is pleased to announce the launch of the fourth phase of the electronic attestation service.

The service will be launched in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, starting from March 15, 2025, and in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria, starting from March 20, 2025.

Applicants will not need to visit Oman’s missions in these countries to obtain attestation services.

The electronic attestation service was launched on January 23, 2025, and now covers the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the Republic of India, and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
The Ministry will continue to expand the service to include other countries according to the phases of its work plan, in cooperation with Oman Post.
