Audrey Azoulay, Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), received the credentials of Ambassador Amina Albalushi, as Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO, during a meeting held at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty’s wishes for further progress in achieving the organisation’s goals.
The Ambassador affirmed Oman’s commitment to developing cooperation in all areas of UNESCO’s work.
UNESCO’s Director-General praised the strong relations between Oman and UNESCO, voicing her commitment to support the success of the Ambassador’s mission to enhance cooperation.
