During a session at the United Nations in New York on promoting human rights, the Sultanate of Oman called for effective measures to stop Israeli violations that constitute a gross violation of human rights.

In a statement delivered by First Secretary Maysaa Alshabli, Oman also demanded protection for civilians and respect for international law.
