The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Washington hosted a roundtable discussion at Georgetown University, during which Mahmoud Al Oaini, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Finance, highlighted Oman’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions, its 2050 net-zero strategy, and its initiatives for investment in critical minerals.

Mohsen Aljabri, Director-General of the Oman Net Zero Centre for at the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, also took part in the discussion.
