The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s condemnation of the Israeli air strikes targeting Abu Al Duhur Military Airport in the Syrian Arab Republic, describing them as a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter.

Oman rejects these attacks, warning that they threaten regional security and stability. It calls on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fulfil its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to halt the attacks and prevent their recurrence.

Oman also reaffirms its solidarity with Syria and its support for all efforts to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
