His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has Royal Decree No. 87/2026 ratifying an Amendment to the Charter of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Article 1 ratifies the amendment to the first paragraph of Article 8 of the Charter of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, promulgated by Royal Decree No. 44/2015 on ratifying the Amended Charter of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, in accordance with the formula set forth in the attached Council of Foreign Ministers’ decision No. 3/44-AT on the Frequency of Convening the Islamic Summit.

Article 2 instructs the competent authorities to deposit the document of ratification of amendment to the aforementioned Charter in accordance with its provisions.
