Oman took part in a preparatory meeting in Jeddah for the 21st extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.

The Sultanate of Oman was represented by Salim Mohamed Khalifa Al Busaidi, General Consul of the Sultanate of Oman in Jeddah and Deputy Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, and Counsellor Kifah Allawatiyah.
