The Sultanate held meetings alongside the Algiers International Fair where Oman was the guest of honour.

Algerian Minister of Energy, Mining and Renewable Energies, Mohamed Arkab, received Omani business leader Sheikh Mohammed Albarwani, Chairman of MB LLC (Mohammed al Barwani LLC). The meeting was attended by Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Energy in charge

His Majesty also visited the National Mujahid Museum.

The formal reception ceremony took place at the El Mouradia Presidential Palace.

The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation and discussed mechanisms for enhancing that cooperation.

The agreements covered the establishment of a joint Omani-Algerian investment fund, as well as cooperation in key sectors.

His Majesty sent a cable of thanks and appreciation to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The meeting took place on the first day of His Majesty’s visit to Algeria.

Members of His Majesty’s official delegation also attended the dinner.

During their visit, the Algerian delegation visited Salalah Port and Free Zone.

Said Sayoud, Algerian Minister of Transport, received Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, received at the Ministry’s headquarters Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Algeria.

Laaziz Faid, Algerian Minister of Finance, received at the Finance Ministry, Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Algeria, and Omani businessman Sheikh Saad bin Suhail Bahwan of the Saud Bahwan Group. The meeting discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation and develop investment opportunities between the two brotherly countries.
