Oman reaffirms its unwavering stance in condemning violence and terrorism in all its forms and motivations.

Aiysha Altoubi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to Australia, received Dr Muhannad Al Kalbani, Deputy Head of the Oman Net Zero Centre, at the Embassy in Canberra as part of his visit to Australia. The meeting discussed potential cooperation with the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) in the areas of clean-energy policy and carbon credits.

He wished the Ambassador success in his duties and further progress and growth in relations between the two friendly countries.

The session reviewed relations between the two countries and discussed strengthening cooperation.

It considers this an important development in the international efforts to achieve a two-state solution.

 Aiysha Altoubi Head of Sultanate of Oman Mission in Australia participated in Future of Mining Australia 2025.   She presented the plans of  Oman Vision 2040 for the mining sector, calling for broader partnerships with Australia. Mattar Al Badi, CEO of Minerals Development Oman (MDO) also showcased the sector’s most promising investment opportunities.

A meeting was held between Aiysha Altoubi, Head of Omani Mission in Australia and Bryony Hilless, Austrade’s General Manager for the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan. The meeting discussed the areas of possible collaboration in the fields of education, mining, renewable energy, and innovation.    

The agreements will increase airline operations to and from Oman.

The IOC aims to find ways for countries to work together to enhance security and prosperity.

The meeting took place at the Indian Ocean Conference in Australia.
