Hamood Altowaiya, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, attended the official opening ceremony of the 39th Moscow International Book Fair. Oman had a prominent presence at the fair. The Ambassador visited the Omani stand, which featured a diverse collection of publications and books on history and culture.

Fahad Alkharusi , Head of Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, attended the opening of a calligraphy exhibition by artist Wisal Shahid. The exhibition was held at Parliament House to mark the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth, under the patronage of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
