Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah, Defence Minister of the State of Kuwait, received Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kuwait. The meeting discussed relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them.

The 48th Kuwait International Book Fair was launched under the slogan “Capital of Culture, Homeland of the Books,” with the Sultanate of Oman as guest of honour for this year’s event. Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Kuwait, met Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al Ali Al Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs, and Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan. Diplomats from Oman’s embassy attended the meeting.

Abdulrahman Al Mutairi, Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, received Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Oman and Kuwait in various fields.

Oman participated in the 6th Gulf Cyber Security Conference and Exhibition, held in the State of Kuwait. The opening of the event and the accompanying exhibition were attended by Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to Kuwait.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the farewell party for the Emir of Kuwait upon his departure at the Royal Airport.

The meeting reviewed opportunities to strengthen partnership and investment.

The two leaders will hold a meeting at Al Barakah Palace, in the presence of officials.

The meeting reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and discussed prospects for developing cooperation.
