Counsellor Mohammed Najeeb bin Saleh Albalooshi, Deputy Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission in Malaysia, visited the Omani team participating in the 2025 Borneo International Kite Festival in Sarawak.

The programme aims to develop capital market activities and to enhance the flow of investments.

The declaration proposed conducting a joint feasibility study for a potential GCC ASEAN Free Trade Agreement.

The summit discussed key topics, including enhancing the economic partnership between the GCC and ASEAN and cooperation in food and energy security.

The meeting was held in preparation for the upcoming GCC–ASEAN Summit.

Ambassador Sheikh Alabbas Alharthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Malaysia, met with Haji Azmin Mustafa Abdul Karim, Director General of Petro Teguh, and his accompanying delegation.
