The Sultanate calls on the international community to take urgent action to put an end to these ongoing attacks.

The statement says the agreement will help alleviate the human suffering in Gaza.

The Acting Head of Oman’s Mission to Palestine, Abdullah Al Haddad, met with Hussein Al Sheikh, Secretary General  of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation. The meeting addressed the current situation and developments in Palestine and the close relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Palestine. First Secretary Khamis Al Saadi also attended the meeting.

The Ministers exchanged views on international issues, including the Palestinian cause and efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

An official statement says this act disregards international calls for a ceasefire and international humanitarian law.

The GCC leaders commended the efforts of Oman and Saudi Arabia to revive the political process in Yemen.

The statement also underscores the necessity of ending the war waged by Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip and attacks on the West Bank.

The call saw an exchange of views on regional developments.

Sayyid Badr spoke of ideas to confront current challenges and secure global peace.

It warned against violations of the sovereignty of Iraq, Syria, and Iran.

Abdullah bin Nasser bin Musalam Al Rahbi, Oman’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League and Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, took part in the preparatory meeting of Foreign Ministers for the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh. The meeting aims to address the political and humanitarian dimensions of the ongoing crises in Lebanon and Palestine.

The summit will address the ongoing Israeli occupation forces’ aggression against Palestine and Lebanon.

In his speech Sayyid Badr said justice is the foundation of peace and accountability is the only way to end the suffering of Gaza and Lebanon.
