Abdullah Al Haddad, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to Palestine, received Yasser Mahmoud Abbas, member of Fatah’s Central Committee and Commissioner for Foreign Relations. The meeting, which was attended by First Secretary Saif Al Salti, discussed relations between Oman and Palestine, as well as issues and recent developments of mutual interest.  

Abdullah Al Haddad, Head of the the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission in Ramallah, attended a reception hosted by Brigadier General Zakaria Musleh, a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council. The reception was attended by officials of the Palestinian Government.

Abdullah AlHaddad, Head of the Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Palestine, attended the eighth general conference of Fatah, the Palestinian National Liberation Movement. The conference was held under the patronage of President Mahmoud Abbas.  

The Sultanate hopes that this will strengthen Palestinian unity and serve its legitimate aspirations.

The call discussed Arab efforts to support Palestinian membership of the UN.

The Foreign Ministry also welcomed signing of the “Beijing Declaration”.

They discussed current developments in Palestine and the repercussions of the brutal Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

Salim bin Habib Alomairi, Chargé d’Affaires of the Sultanate of Oman’s Embassy to the State of Palestine met with Ahmed Majdalani, Minister for Social Affairs and a member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation’s Executive Committee.
