Ambassador Mohammed Alkathiri, Head of Mission of the Sultanate of Oman in Senegal, presented a Royal Letter to Billon David, appointing him as  Honorary Consul of the Sultanate of Oman in Côte d’Ivoire.

Ambassador Mohammed Alkathiri, Head of Oman’s Mission to Senegal, received Dr Mohammed Al Mokhtar Gueye, Director of Research at the Islamic Institute in Dakar, in the presence of Second Secretary Mohammed Altai. The meeting during which the guest was presented with books introducing the Sultanate of Oman, also discussed cooperation in cultural exchanges.  

Ambassador Mohammed Alkathiri, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission in Senegal, received a delegation of Omani businessmen. The meeting discussed the possibility of engaging in investment projects in the fisheries sector.

Mohammed Alkathiri, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission in Dakar, attended a dinner for ambassadors hosted by Minister Yassine Fall, Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs. The Oman Investment Authority (OIA) participated in the event, during which the strategic challenges of the Investment Forum in Senegal were discussed.  

His Majesty received the credentials of the Ambassadors to Oman of China,Senegal and the UAE.

The Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador success in his duties.

The Head of Oman’s mission in Senegal, Saif Alsaadi, met with Serigne Gueye Diop, Senegal’s Minister of Economy and Trade, at the Ministry’s headquarters. They discussed topics of common interest relating to  economic and trade cooperation and investment between Oman and Senegal.

Oman’s Chargé d’Affaires in Senegal, Saif Alsaadi, met with Doudou Ka, Senegal’s Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, in the capital, Dakar. They discussed areas for further cooperation between Oman and Senegal.

Saif bin Rashid Hilal Alsaadi, head of Oman’s Embassy in Senegal, met with General Mbaye Cissé, Chief of the General Staff of the Senegalese Armed Forces.
