Jameel bin Haji bin Ismaeel Al Balushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People\u2019s Republic of Bangladesh<\/a> participated in the \u201cRoadmap for Trade, Growth & Economic Diplomacy, 2026\u201d conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

The conference was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People\u2019s Republic of Bangladesh<\/a> in cooperation with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA)<\/a>, and with the participation of a number of government officials, heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organisations and development partners.<\/p>\n

During the conference, delegates discussed ways to strengthen trade and investment, and to activate the role of economic diplomacy in expanding areas of cooperation and supporting sustainable growth.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the conference, the Ambassador met Dr Khalilur Rahman, Minister for Foreign Affairs<\/a>, and Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of BIDA. They exchanged views on a number of matters of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
