The 15th meeting of the Strategic Consultative Group between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India was held in New Delhi.<\/p>\n

\"Oman<\/p>\n

The Omani delegation was headed by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy,<\/a> while the Indian delegation was headed by Siriya Ranganathan, Secretary for Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs at India\u2019s Ministry of External Affairs.<\/a><\/p>\n

The meeting discussed ways to implement the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement<\/a> between the two countries, with a view to boosting trade and investment and expanding opportunities for economic cooperation.<\/p>\n

\"Oman<\/p>\n

It also reviewed cooperation in civil aviation, maritime transport, logistics and energy, alongside a number of consular matters and agreements. The two countries also exchanged views on regional developments.<\/p>\n
