The first round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the Sultanate of Oman and the Hellenic Republic was held.<\/p>\n

The Omani delegation was headed by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy,<\/a> while the Greek delegation was headed by Alexandra Papadopoulou, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic.<\/a><\/p>\n

The consultations discussed the friendly relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, reaffirming their commitment to expanding cooperation, particularly in tourism, maritime transport and culture.<\/p>\n

The two countries also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
