The seven high level meetings covered a range of regional and international issues.

Maitha Saif Almahrouqi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Germany, received a delegation from the Omani Lawyers Association, which is visiting Germany with a group of  25 lawyers and legal specialists. The visit forms part of the Association’s efforts to advance legal diplomacy, expand international cooperation and establish channels of communication with judicial and legal

As part of academic cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany, Ambassador Maitha Almahrouqi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Germany, participated in a coordination meeting in Bonn between officials from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Omani Ministry of Education.

The Ministers discussed the understanding between the United States and Iran.

The Ministers exchanged views on current developments and their implications for security and stability.

Maithaa Almahrouqi, non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Ukraine, and head of mission in Berlin presented a copy of her credentials to Olexandr Mischenko, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv.

The Ambassadors to the Federal Republic of Germany of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a consultative meeting in Berlin with the German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul. The meeting discussed the current situation in the Gulf and its repercussions on the region’s countries and the world. The meeting also reviewed cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany

The German President condemned the attacks that targeted Oman, the GCC states, and other countries in the region.

The consultations focused on key current issues in addition to addressing economic, climate and humanitarian challenges.

The Ministers agreed on the importance of adhering to diplomacy and peaceful solutions to safeguard stability and peace.
