Ambassador Zakariya Alsaadi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, joined a number of Ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Seoul at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Ginseng Festival, held annually in the Korean city of Yeongju.

Zakariya Alsaadi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Korea, received Dr Deuk Jung Kim, Executive Vice President of Korea’s National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The meeting discussed cooperation between Oman and Korea in artificial intelligence and information technology.

A delegation from the Royal Oman Police, headed by Brigadier Salim bin Mubarak Al Abrawi, Commander of the Police Special Task Force, visited the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Korea. The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Seoul participated in the 2026 Sinchon World Youth Festival, held September 11-13 in the Sinchon district of Seoul. The Embassy took part with an Omani cultural display showcasing aspects of Oman’s culture and heritage. The stand received a positive response from Korean visitors and other festival attendees.

The ceremony was attended by Oman’s Foreign Minister.
