Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from Ali Bagheri Kani, Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

They exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and the dangerous escalation as a result of Israel's stubbornness and continued brutal aggression against the defenceless Palestinian people and the terrorist operations and political assassinations it is practising to exhaust efforts to calm the situation, establish a ceasefire and achieve peace.

The Ministers stressed the importance of the international community playing its role in taking all measures to deter this sinful Israeli aggression which does not respect but rather violates all international norms and laws and to hold every wicked aggressor accountable.
