Foreign Minister and Iranian counterpart discuss regional developments

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a phone call from Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the call, they discussed the recent military escalation in the region, emphasising the importance of de-escalation and exerting all efforts to avoid further conflict.

They also discussed how to halt Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and how to further political solutions to establish an independent Palestinian state and so achieve security and peace in the region.
