Foreign Minister at Arab Ministers' meeting in New York
Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, participated in a consultative meeting of Arab Ministers, held on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Ministers discussed the latest regional developments and shared challenges, stressing the importance of Arab unity and enhancing joint cooperation to confront the current crises.
The meeting specifically addressed the Arab position on the Palestinian issue, where the Ministers reaffirmed their unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people and the importance of achieving a just and comprehensive solution that ensures the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The Ministers also renewed their call for the international community to assume its responsibilities and intensify efforts for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to stop the brutal Israeli aggression.
