Foreign Minister at GCC coordination meeting in New York

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi participated in the coordination meeting of GCC foreign ministers at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The meeting discussed various topics related to the international agenda of the current General Assembly session and the scheduled joint meetings between GCC countries and several nations and regional blocs.

The Ministers reaffirmed their support for ongoing efforts to address regional and international challenges peacefully, with a focus on regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause, efforts to halt the war on Gaza and containing current escalations on several fronts.

They emphasised the GCC countries' commitment to supporting dialogue and international law to achieve justice and to implement the UN Charter in resolving conflicts.
