Foreign Minister calls Indian Minister of External Affairs
Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, made a phone call to Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Indian Minister of External Affairs.
The Foreign Minister expressed his sincere condolences to the friendly Republic of India on the death of one of its nationals following a shooting incident in the vicinity of a mosque in the Wadi Al Kabir area in Muscat Governorate.
Dr Jaishankar offered his condolences to Oman over the death of a member of security personnel in the incident, expressing his solidarity with the measures taken by the Sultanate to preserve and maintain its security, stressing the importance of combatting misguided ideas and consolidating the values of peaceful coexistence.
