Foreign Minister discusses Gaza with Chinese Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, had a phone call with Wang Yi, Foreign Minister of the people's Republic of China, about the situation in and around the Gaza Strip.

They discussed the ongoing, serious military escalation, sharing their concern about the harm being done to ordinary people. They agreed that the world community needs to intervene, in accordance with international laws.

The Ministers agreed that the Palestinian issue is a just cause and talked about the need to end the blockade that Israel has imposed on Gaza.

They also agreed that a temporary ceasefire should be put in place to help the people of Gaza get the relief supplies they urgently need.

They further agreed that the best way to end the conflict between Israel and Palestine is through a solution based on two separate states, in line with international resolutions.
