Foreign Minister holds meeting with Turkish counterpart

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting on Tuesday with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu on the sidelines of the 76th meeting of the UN General Assembly.

During the online meeting, Sayyid Badr and Mr Cavusoglu stressed the need to upgrade bilateral coordination to keep pace with the two countries’ growing economic and investment cooperation.

They also exchanged views on key regional and international developments, including climate challenges, efforts for recovery from Covid-19 pandemic and the UN agenda for sustainable development.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Qasim Mohammed Alsalhi, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Turkey.
