Foreign Minister meets Iranian counterpart

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met in Tehran today with Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The meeting touched on areas of bilateral cooperation and means of promoting them to serve the joint interests of both countries.

The two ministers also discussed regional and international issues of common interest. The two sides affirmed that they will continue with joint consultations and will make all efforts to maintain security, peace and stability through dialogue and political means.

The meeting was attended by Ibrahim Almuaini, Oman's Ambassador to Iran; Ambassador Khaled Al Muslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department and a number of officials from the foreign ministries of the two countries.
