Foreign Minister receives call from new Dutch Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from Caspar Veldkamp, ​​Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Sayyid Badr congratulated Mr Veldkamp on his appointment and wished him success in his duties and for further development and prosperity in Omani-Dutch relations.

The Dutch Foreign Minister offered his country's condolences following the death of a member of security personnel as a result of a shooting incident in the Wadi Kabir region.

The Ministers touched on the latest developments in relations between the two countries and the ongoing work to enhance them,  reflecting the ambition of their leaders to achieve mutual benefit for their people.

They also discussed regional and international issues, agreeing on a common position calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of detainees and the entry of relief and humanitarian aid without obstacles.
