Foreign Minister receives Secretary of Fatah Central Committee

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received at the Foreign Ministry Major General Jibril Rajoub, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Fatah Movement and President of the Palestinian Olympic Committee.

During the meeting, they discussed the current Palestinian situation and the ongoing efforts to achieve Palestinian national reconciliation. This aims to ensure the justice of the Palestinian cause and the independence of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders – the only way to end the Arab-Israeli conflict.

The meeting also underscored the international community's responsibility to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, alleviate the suffering of its residents and open all necessary humanitarian aid crossings.

Sayyid Badr praised the resilience of the Palestinian people in the face of great challenges. He reiterated Oman's unwavering and supportive stance on the Palestinian cause.

In response, Major General Jibril Rajoub expressed his appreciation for the significant efforts made by Oman in supporting the Palestinian cause. He valued Oman's supportive positions on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and its continuous pursuit of achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
