German President to visit Oman

President Dr Frank Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany will pay an official visit  to the Sultanate of Oman this week.

A statement issued by the Diwan of the Royal Court reads as follows:

“In reiteration of the keenness of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to hold meetings with world leaders to discuss regional situations and to find ways that maintain global peace and harmony, President Dr Frank Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman from Monday November 27th till Wednesday November 29th.

“The visit reflects the advanced relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany.

“The visit will explore areas of cooperation that serve the two countries’ interests and aspirations. It will also discuss current regional issues.”
